Alice and Olivia lost their Nan last week. They can’t stop thinking about her. How she used to dance. How her breath always smelt like tar and red wine. How her walking stick made that tapping noise on the wooden flooring. Her brews, they were the best. God they’ll miss her so much. Packing away her things feels wrong. Join them in unveiling the unknown and find out for yourself what happens when the dead haven’t said goodbye.

Rosie Parkinson has been taken in for questioning. She had fled from her abusive relationship with Shaun and found herself living on the streets with only the protection of her newfound friend Murphy. But just when she thinks she’s safe, she discovers Murphy is one of the many people who owe Shaun drug money. Now investigators want to know what happened on 15th December 2003 and what happened to the weapon that ultimately writes off Murphy’s debt.

This year, we are including our first-year shows as part of the SPARK festival. Because of the pandemic, the year groups haven't been able to connect with one another, which has always been a key feature of the drama degree at LJMU. SPARK festival brings the year groups back together!
